Art Beyond Borders – Welcome to the 3D Virtual Gallery

Step into an international 3D virtual gallery where art, culture, and diverse perspectives come together in a shared digital space. Open to visitors anytime and from anywhere, the gallery can be explored online with nothing more than an internet connection.

The gallery showcases artworks by artists from across Europe, including Slovakia, Turku, Lapland, Malta, Spain, Italy, and Croatia. Each participating region has its own unique 3D gallery environment. More than simply exhibition spaces, these virtual galleries are carefully designed digital worlds that reflect the character of their respective regions and provide a distinctive setting for the artworks on display. Visitors can travel seamlessly between galleries, discovering artists, artworks, and creative perspectives from different parts of Europe along the way. The virtual gallery is part of the PMP project, which explores innovative ways of using digital environments to make art and culture more accessible while strengthening connections between artists, regions, and communities. The gallery will open to the public as part of the celebrations surrounding Oulu’s European Capital of Culture year. By extending the cultural experience beyond physical venues, this digital exhibition invites audiences everywhere to engage with contemporary European art, wherever they may be.

We invite you to explore, discover, and experience how local creativity connects with a global audience in a unique virtual world.
